Parent Meetings

Meetings for new students in 2024 will be held in the last week of November, 2023. Students will be advised of the actual date, venue and times through their schools.

Absences

If your child is going to be absent from a PEAC session, please inform the PEAC teacher prior to the session commencement time.

Phone message, email or text is acceptable and much appreciated. Details of your teachers are available at the beginning of each course.

Please do not call South Metro Regional Education Office in Beaconsfield about absences. If you are unsure of the teachers’ contact details call the Admin Centre at Curtin PEAC on 64558060 and they will pass on your message.

Program Fees

All programs attract a course fee. The maximum contribution over a year is $300.

All charges are outlined in the program material handed out to students before each set of programs.

COURSE COSTS MUST BE PAID TO ENROLLING SCHOOLS PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE PROGRAM

Holidays

PEAC programs do not continue through school holiday periods, Public Holidays and some School Development Days. Details are provided on the course outlines given to students at the start of each program.

Parent Contact

Parents will be informed of important issues and special events such as PEAC camps, outings etc. Parents will also be contacted if their child is experiencing difficulties within the PEAC program.

Please provide us with up-to-date contact details.

Transport

Transport to and from the sessions is a parental responsibility. Usually, it is possible to form a “Car Pooling-Confidential Declaration Form” to avoid each parent travelling for every session.

Parents are expected to deliver and pick up their child from the PEAC site on time.

Please do not park in staff car parks. Drop-off and pick-up arrangements will be advised for each centre.
