Forensics

PEAC students from the Forensic Investigations class were fortunate enough to work with a number of Forensic Scientists at Murdoch University last week and had some very memorable experiences
They had 2 different sessions, one on Fingerprint Analysis where they learnt some of the important steps and methods to obtain fingerprints and looked at their own in much more detail.
The other session was on Facial Reconstruction which involved the students moulding the facial muscles from clay and placing them on plastic skulls. They then added more clay over the muscles to represent the skin. The results were quite interesting, and gave the student a great insight into this area of Forensics.
