Due to Covid-19 distancing restrictions we have to follow a very strict protocol for our Parent meetings, as only 75 people can congregate together. Therefore we are dividing the schools into nights according to their alphabetical order. All parent nights will be held at Curtin Primary School and we request that only one parent attends to ensure that all families can be represented on their particular night.
These meetings have been rescheduled because of the current COVID-19 lockdown. Please note the meetings are now one week later than first advertised.
The break down of dates and school attendance is now:
Monday 15th February 2021- 6.00pm-7.00pm- All schools from Applecross-Caladenia only
Tuesday 16th February 2021- 6.00pm-7.00pm- All schools from Campbell to Harrisdale only.
Wednesday 17th February 2021- 6.00pm-7.00pm- All schools from Hilton- Richmond only.
Thursday 18th February 2021- 6.00pm-7.00pm- All schools from Riverton – Yale only.
If your child is going to be absent from a PEAC session, please inform the PEAC teacher prior to the session commencement time.
Phone message, email or text is acceptable and much appreciated. Details of your teachers are available at the beginning of each course.
Please do not call South Metro Regional Education Office in Beaconsfield about absences. If you are unsure of the teachers contact details call the Admin Centre at Curtin PEAC on 9313 2981 and they will pass on your message.
All progams attract a course fee. The maximum contribution over a year is $300.
All charges are outlined in the program material handed out to students before each set of programs.
COURSE COSTS MUST BE PAID TO ENROLLING SCHOOLS PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE PROGRAM
PEAC programs do not continue through school holiday periods, Pubic Holidays and some School Development Days. Details are provided on the course outlines given to students at the start of each program.
Parents will be informed of important issues and special events such as PEAC camps, outings etc. Parents will also be contacted if their child is experiencing difficulties within the PEAC program.
Transport to and from the sessions is a parental responsibility. Usually it is possible to form a “Car Pooling-Confidential Declaration Form” to avoid each parent travelling for every session.
Parents are expected to deliver and pick up their child from the PEAC site on time.
Please do not park in staff car parks.
